Bristols have solid, hand-laid fiberglass hulls. The decks are cored with end-grain balsa except in high-stress areas where the decks are solid glass. All backing plates for deck hardware are easy to access from below. New England workmanship is evident throughout. The keel/centerboard model of the Bristol 29.9 is quite rare. Bristol built hundreds of centerboard boats, and they perfected this system.
Victoria Anne has been well cared for by her current owners and is sailed at every possible opportunity so she is in fine shape. Since 2007 has had new running rigging, new sails, new self-tailing primary winches, barrier coated bottom, new cutlass bearing, new alternator and engine water pump & all the head hoses have been replaced. This classic pocket cruiser is spacious below, warm and inviting with solid teak and holly sole and mahogany cabinetry. With sweet lines and a great hull shape she sails like a dream with the centerboard down, but can be taken close to shore for some serious gunkholing.

Accommodations:
The large V-berth forward has a filler cushion. Just aft of the V-berth, the enclosed head is full width, with a hanging locker, drawers and cabinets to starboard and head and basin to port. A shower fitting fits onto a protrusion between the faucets and a shower curtain can be drawn along tracks in the headliner to close off the wet area from the lockers.
In the salon, the dining table folds up on the port forward bulkhead when not in use, so it feels spacious. The port settee pulls out to form a double berth and there is a quarterberth behind the nav station, port aft. The galley is to starboard and has a large ice box, and 2-burner CNG cooktop as well as a sink with pressurized hot and cold water and lots of storage.
